Outcrop Garnet Recycled Silver ring
This heavily textured Silver ring has been reticulated* to achieve a rocky finish, resembling my inspiration, the stunning Dorset coast. It has then been oxidised and buffed to celebrate the surface quality.

Garnet is the birthstone for those born in January. It has been used in Jewellery since the beginning of recorded history. Spiritually, it is a stone believed to keep wearers safe, having invigorating and renewing powers that can keep the wearer grounded. It has been carried into battle for protection and is mentioned several times in the Bible. Garnets are a family of several types and occur in a wide variety of beautiful colours though the most usual seen is red.
*Reticulation is a fun and serendipitous process. Using only heat, the structure of the metal itself is altered and on cooling, the surface forms into a wonderfully organic, intricate rock-like texture.
All of my packaging is UK sourced, biodegradable and plastic free. Every item of jewellery will be carefully wrapped in a Dorset Hill Jewellery hand stamped box, finished with tissue paper, string and of course a hand drawn name tag.
